SMS Consent Proof

Exact consent language

The text below is rendered verbatim next to an unchecked-by-default checkbox on every Stucco Champions surface that collects SMS opt-in (the dedicated intake form at /sms-intake/ and the homepage section). It is generated from a single shared component, so the language cannot drift between surfaces.

Where consent is collected

1. Dedicated SMS intake form at /sms-intake/ — single-page, server-rendered. The unchecked-by-default checkbox plus the canonical consent paragraph and the clickable Privacy Policy + Terms of Service links are all present in the initial HTML response.
2. Bottom section of the homepage at stuccochampions.com — the same Stucco Champions intake form, rendered server-side in a section near the page footer.

Note on the booking calendar. The booking widget rendered on /book/, /estimate/, and inside hero sections is an iframe to a third-party CRM calendar (GoHighLevel). The calendar collects contact information for the appointment only — it does not enroll the visitor in the Stucco Champions SMS program. To make this explicit on our domain, both /book/ and /estimate/ render a server-side disclosure note above the iframe stating that booking does not enroll the visitor in SMS, and linking to /sms-intake/ for visitors who do want appointment text messages.

On every surface, the SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default. SMS opt-in is optional and never a condition of purchase — every form on the site can be submitted with the box unchecked, in which case the lead is recorded with sms_opt_in=false and no text messages are sent.

The Stucco Champions SMS program is transactional only. We do not send promotional or marketing campaigns through this program.

Opt-out process

Recipients can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Opt-out is honored immediately and confirmed via an auto-reply; no further texts are sent unless the recipient re-subscribes.

Data handling

Phone numbers and consent timestamps are stored securely in our CRM. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties.
