Investment Baseline Estimates

These figures represent high-level baseline ranges to help homeowners budget for their restoration. Every quote is ultimately tailored to the specific wall geometry and substrate health of the property.

Reinforcement and Seismic Resilience

Homes in Orange County and Los Angeles are subject to constant ground movement. Rigid traditional stucco systems often develop hairline surface fracturing due to this seismic activity. We offer a high-tensile Fiberglass Mesh reinforcement system that is embedded directly into the base coat of our re-stucco projects. This layer acts as a structural skeleton, allowing your exterior to bridge minor movements and significantly reducing surface cracks over the decades.

Industrial Preparation Standards

The durability of a stucco system is determined by the mechanical bond created during the preparation phase. We utilize industrial methods to ensure a permanent result.

Mechanical Sandblasting

Sandblasting is handled as an independent service provided through specialized partners. This arrangement is necessary due to distinct licensing requirements and high-pressure environmental permits required for mechanical blasting. Please note that certain municipalities have specific regulations regarding blasting methods, which we manage as part of the total project scope.

High-Pressure Hydro-blasting

For projects where the underlying substrate is in good structural health, we utilize ultra-high-pressure water systems. This clears contaminants and provides a clean, stable surface for the new application while minimizing dust impact on the surrounding neighborhood.

Smooth Santa Barbara Finish Advisory

Smooth finish stucco is a premium architectural choice that requires a much higher labor intensity. Because it lacks aggregate texture to hide transitions, localized repairs or patches on a smooth surface will remain visible. Consequently, smooth stucco services carry a 40 percent premium, and we typically recommend re-stuccoing entire wall planes for a cohesive look.

Scaffolding and Access Access Details

Base project rates do not include the cost of scaffolding. For safety compliance and uniform application on multi-story sections, scaffolding is required for any work area exceeding 12 feet in height. This is calculated as a separate cost based on linear footage and required access levels.

Service Boundaries and Exclusions

To provide the highest quality traditional cement stucco, we focus exclusively on our area of expertise. Our services do not include:

  • EIFS or Synthetic Stucco applications
  • Fog Coating or paint-based finishes
  • Venetian Plaster or interior plastering
  • Independent painting or sealing services
  • Projects on structures 3 stories or taller
  • Major structural framing work

Estimated investment ranges provided by our tool are for preliminary planning. All binding contracts are issued only after a physical site walkthrough to verify measurements and wall health. Customer is responsible for final painting.
